Hello everyone! Welcome to the patch notes for SkyBlock: End & Beyond (v0.5)!
We're so excited to finally share what we've been working on over the past few months. This update includes a lot of new content, including yours truly, The End. Let's dive in!
Welcome to The End
It's time. The long-awaited The End island is now available. This image was rendered before custom blocks of CraftersMC were added, so what you see in-game will look even better.
You can travel to The End using the portal in the Wilderness on Skyline Village or by using Fast Travel in your SkyBlock Menu. You need to be Combat level 12 or higher to travel to The End.
The End contains 2 zones, the Dragon's Nest and the rest of the island. They introduce brand new collections: End Stone and Ender Pearl, brand new mobs such as Enderman, Zealot and Seers, new public boss fights which will be mentioned later, and Ender Nodes you can mine to drop loot.
You'll also find Challenger Fynn, Pearl Dealer Vael and the Lone Adventurer Cinder near the spawn.
The regular Endermen around The End drop unique items, including the Enderman Pet, Ender Necklace and more!
New Collections
The Ender Pearl and End Stone collection introduces new items such as new minions, Ender Bow, Aspect of The End, Endermite Pet and Catalyst.Challenger Fynn
Fynn challenges you with the Ender Node Hunt! It's a timed challenge where you have to find specific amount of Ender Nodes as fast as you can.
After completing its challenges, it'll reward you with an accessory and unlock the Freemode, where you can test yourself and climb the leaderboard.
Pearl Dealer Vael
The Pearl Dealer sells items that should be useful for you in The End, including Silent Pearls and a new pickaxe, Stonk.
Lone Adventurer Cinder
The Lone Adventurer has a questline that'll unlock ways to obtain new items like Dragon Shortbow and Void Sword.
You'll also be able to access the Dragon Guide upon completing her quest, which lets you easily track your statistics of the public boss fights in The End.
Dragon's Nest
The Dragon's Nest exists deep inside The End, beyond a massive gate. There are 3 types of mobs in the nest: Zealots, Seers and Obsidian Defenders.
Each of these mobs drop unique loot upon slaying them, including new equipments, Summoning Eyes, armor pieces and weapons. Here are some examples:
Now let's get to the part you've been waiting for... Dragons!
Ender Dragons
The End introduces 7 Ender Dragons you can fight. This is the first public boss fight we're adding to CraftersMC, with of course more on the way.
Summoning Dragons
You can summon Ender Dragons using the altar below the massive egg in Dragon's Nest.In order to summon a Dragon, players need to place 8 Summoning Eyes to the frames. Summoning Eyes can be dropped from Special Zealots. Special Zealots spawn very rarely upon killing a Zealot inside the Dragon's Nest.
The optimal way to summon a Dragon is to collaborate with other players and for everyone to contribute by placing Summoning Eyes together.
When 8 Summoning Eyes are placed, they rise toward the Dragon Egg and cause it to explode, spawning a random Dragon type. All Dragon types have equal summon chances, except for the Superior Dragon, which is rarer:
- Old Dragon: 16%
- Young Dragon: 16%
- Protector Dragon: 16%
- Strong Dragon: 16%
- Wise Dragon: 16%
- Unstable Dragon: 16%
- Superior Dragon: 4%
The Dragon's Gate gets shut during a Dragon fight. Players need to break the gate by dealing 1.000.000 damage to it in order to access the nest during a fight.
Placing a Summoning Eye on a frame will convert it into a Sleeping Eye. Interacting with the frame while holding the Sleeping Eye will return the placed Summoning Eye.
The Summoning Eyes you've placed will automatically be taken back if you change servers or disconnect. This only applies before a Dragon is spawned.
When all 8 eyes are placed and a Dragon spawns, the Sleeping Eyes in your inventory will be converted to Remnant of the Eyes. You can use it as a material to craft other items.
Fighting a Dragon
When a Dragon spawns, it flies around in the Dragon's Nest. The optimal way to fight with a dragon is to use ranged weapons, such as Bows. But of course, if you're brave and powerful enough, you can go for a melee hit at the right time.
Every dragon has different abilities that they'll use on you during a fight, like a fireball shower, lightning strike. They sometimes also rush on players to deal massive damage.
Ender Crystals will also spawn in the nest, healing the Dragon when it's nearby. You can destroy them to prevent the dragon from healing and drop a Crystal Fragment.
When a Dragon is slain, its loot will drop beneath the location of its death. Every player gets separate loot from a Dragon.
Loot of the Dragons
The loot from the fight depends on your damage and the number of Summoning Eyes you contributed to summon the Dragon. The more your damage, the better loot you'll get.
I don't have any friends so I was the only one that dealt damage to this Dragon.
Every Ender Dragon drops unique loot such as armors, weapons and fragments. There are some that drop from all dragons depending on your luck too. Here are some examples:
You can craft Dragon Armors using Dragon Fragments. You'll usually drop a fragment when you deal above a certain amount of damage to dragons.
We're leaving the rest of the loot for you to discover yourself! Now let's talk about all dragons in detail!
Old Dragon
The Old Dragon is... simply the oldest dragon. It is a lot slower than the other ones but also has the most HP.
It drops Old Dragon Armor pieces and Old Dragon Fragments. Example armor piece:
Young Dragon
The Young Dragon is the youngest and fastest of all dragons. You'd want to aim precisely for a successful hit.
It drops Young Dragon Armor pieces and Young Dragon Fragments. Example armor piece:
Protector Dragon
The Protector Dragon is the toughest of all dragons with the most defense.
It drops Protector Dragon Armor pieces and Protector Dragon Fragments. Example armor piece:
Strong Dragon
The Strong Dragon is the strongest of all dragons. It deals massive damage so you must be well-prepared with all kinds of healing items.
It drops Strong Dragon Armor pieces and Strong Dragon Fragments. Example armor piece:
Wise Dragon
The Wise Dragon is the most intelligent of all dragons. The abilities it uses deal a lot more damage.
It drops Wise Dragon Armor pieces and Wise Dragon Fragments. Example armor piece:
Unstable Dragon
As the name and look says, Unstable Dragon is the most unstable of all dragons. It randomly teleports around, smites nearby players and causes explosions.
It drops Unstable Dragon Armor pieces and Unstable Dragon Fragments.
Superior Dragon
The Superior Dragon is the most superior of all dragons in any way. It deals massive damage, uses the abilities of all other dragons combined and has a large amount of HP.
It drops Superior Dragon Armor pieces, which are the best Dragon armors, and Superior Dragon Fragments.
End Stone Protector
The End Stone protector is another public boss fight that exists in the Dragon's Nest. It can be summoned by all players killing a specific amount of Zealots in an End lobby. You'll see warning announcements in the chat and the boss slowly getting constructed upon killing Zealots.
The End Stone Protector also grants loot depending on your damage and your Zealot contribution. The loot includes new items such as the Golem Pet and Tier Boost Core.
I still didn't have any friends so I did all the work again.
...And more!
There's a lot more for you to discover in The End. Hop on the game and start exploring now!
Introducing Equipments!
Just like armors, equipments are new types of wearables you can use to gain statistics and abilities. They are Necklaces, Cloaks, Belts and Gauntlets. You can unlock your equipment slots by reaching Combat level 12. After you unlock them, the slots will simply appear in your inventory.
Here are some example equipments:
Accessory Reforging Revamp
Thaumaturgist Viktor and the Accessory Specialist Sky is now at your service in Skyline Village! You can no longer reforge your accessories or gain stats from accessory reforges. Storing accessories in your Accessory Bag will simply grant you Magical Power!
The more Magical Power you have, the more statistics like Health or Intelligence you get from your Accessory Bag. The cool part is, you can choose what stats you get by selecting a power type!
You can unlock new power types by combining 9x Power Stones. Power Stones can be obtained in various ways, including from new recipes in collections.
Additionally, every 10 Magical Power grants you a tuning point. You can use these points to fine-tune your and get even more statistics.
You can talk to Viktor or use remote thaumaturgy (/thaumaturgy) if you have an Emerald rank any time to change your Accessory Bag's power or to tune your bonus stats.
What about the existing reforged accessories?
You can talk to the Accessory Specialist Sky to get a refund for all your accessory reforges.
Sky will also sell you Accessory Bag upgrades for coins
She might give you a special item after you buy upgrades from her several times!
About Thaumaturgy
We're expecting the Accessory Reforge Revamp to negatively affect your statistics. We will be monitoring the server and looking for your feedbacks to apply balancement patches if needed.
Advanced Reforging
You can now use Reforge Stones to apply special reforges on your items! Here are some examples:In order to apply a Reforge Stone on your item, you need a Reforge Anvil. You can unlock the recipe of it on the Obsidian collection 10 or buy one from the Blacksmith.
Blacksmith also sells some Reforge Stones on his newly added shop.
Enchantment Discounts
Enchantment Book recipes that previously existed in various collections now grant you discounts for that enchantment instead of the book recipe. The discount applies on both Enchantment Tables and Anvils.
New Achievements and Achievement Mottos
We've added 15 new achievements for all recent updates including this one. Another thing for achievements, you can now select an unlocked achievement as a motto if you have an Emerald rank! Now that's another way to flex, I guess.
A Lot of New Visuals!
We've added/revamped a lot of visual stuff including items, UIs and models. Here are two examples:The SkyBlock Menu item has been revamped and themed for SkyBlock: End & Beyond. It's now also animated.
Another thing is the View Equipments menu. You can now easily view equipments and stats of a player without the need of going into an alt menu, just by shift + right clicking on them. You can even see how they look!

Improvements for our server software
As mentioned in previous patch notes, we've been improving how Lux handles network communication by migrating to CloudburstMC Protocol, an actively maintained library that keeps up with Minecraft's frequent protocol changes. With this update we have migrated five more packets, leaving us with only two packet types left to migrate. This transition allows us to roll out version updates much faster, often without any downtime with multi-protocol support. You may have noticed this already: aside from v0.4.5, some of our recent updates have gone live without full maintenance.
It's part of a larger effort to rewrite core parts of the server software that were developed almost 10 years ago! By modernizing and rewriting legacy code, it makes us easier to develop and release new content and features, like the multi-protocol support we recently delivered.
New AI for mobs
We've also been developing a new AI system for mobs. Our current system is dated and difficult to extend with custom behaviors. The new system is far more dynamic, enabling features like necromancy that simply weren't possible before. We will roll this out gradually. Currently, only mobs on The End use it. In upcoming updates, we'll rewrite existing mobs on other islands to take advantage of the new system as well.
That's The End of the patch notes!
Thank you for reading! While we have a lot of stuff that we couldn't include in the notes, End & Beyond is waiting for you to jump right in now.As a friendly reminder, please note that CraftersMC SkyBlock is still on a beta and continously under heavy development. While we try our best to ensure the smoothest experience possible, you should always except bugs, issues and server stability problems. Be sure to report any to us by using our bug report form!
