To ensure the safety and stability of our services, all users of the CraftersMC Public API must follow the following rules.
Any use case of the CraftersMC Public API must also comply with the CraftersMC Server Rules.
Violation of the API Usage Policy or Server Rules may result in termination of your API access or suspension of your CraftersMC account.
You can find the API documentation at: https://api.craftersmc.net.
1. Legal Compliance
- You are not allowed to create or develop projects that infringe on the trademarks or branding of CraftersMC, TEON CREATIVE, Minecraft, Mojang, Microsoft, or Xbox.
- Any project using the API must clearly and explicitly state that it is not affiliated, endorsed, or partnered with CraftersMC, TEON CREATIVE, Minecraft, Mojang, Microsoft or Xbox.
- Any use of the API that violates, or may potentially violate, any applicable law is strictly prohibited.
2. Use Cases
- You are not allowed to use the API in any manner that may compromise the integrity, security, or stability of our games and services.
- You are not allowed to create projects that give players an unfair advantage or encourage violations of our rules.
- You are not allowed to use the API in any way that hinders, obstructs, or interferes with the work and operations of CraftersMC team.
- You are not allowed to use the API solely for tracking specific players, such as those with specific ranks or statistics.
- You are not allowed to create applications that require users to authenticate via OAuth (e.g., Discord or Xbox accounts) in any way.
- The CraftersMC API is intended for use by players and must not be used for large-scale automated data collection.
- For example, the API may not be used to continuously poll player data to track in-game statistics/progression or provide historical stats to users. This restriction also applies to applications that perform temporary tracking of player stats based on user input, often referred to as "session tracking".
- You are not allowed to develop an application that proxies the CraftersMC API for use by third-party developers.
3. Access and Limits
- You are not allowed to request or collect API keys from other players for use in your application. Your application must use only your own single API key.
- You are not allowed to use multiple API keys for a single application/project or obtain API keys from other accounts to bypass rate limits, account suspensions, or API access restrictions.
- Your project should use caching wherever possible to minimize API requests.
- You may request a higher API rate limit by contacting us at [email protected]. Your request must include your gamertag, a detailed description of your project, and a thorough explanation of how your project uses the API and why elevated permissions are required.
- You are not allowed to share your API key with any third parties, including entering it into websites or applications.
- You should not include your API key in your project’s source code, particularly if the code is publicly accessible.
- We do not guarantee 24/7 availability of the API. The API may be limited or unavailable at certain times when necessary.
- You must report any bugs or issues with the API at https://craftersmc.net/bug-reports.
4. Monetization
- You are not allowed to monetize your project or application in any way, including through the trading of in-game currencies or progression.
- You are not allowed to include any betting or gambling functionality in your project.
