Here we go again.
Welcome to New Horizons! This update includes some major contents introduced in SkyBlock. Scroll down to start viewing the news!
Welcome to Skyline Village
It's been a long road in the Llyn Village. Due to the small size and the limited space existing in the Llyn Village for new contents, we've decided to introduce a brand new SkyBlock Village which brings many new adventures alongside. This is just the beginning of a new journey, and Skyline Village will help us deliver new contents your way better and more freely with its potential.
Skyline Village has 8 main zones:
- Village Center
- Oak Forest
- Harvest Haven
- Coal Mine
- Graveyard
- Wilderness
- The Ruins
- Colosseum
1. Village Center
Village Center is where most of the things take place in Skyline. It contains the Community Center, Bank, Auction House, Pet Care Building, stands and buildings of the merchants and many more.
There are also the the guides that'll introduce you to SkyBlock by giving you the starting information you need:
These guys are somewhat crazy, one of them may try to attack you with a katana. He doesn't know the katana is fake, though.
2. Oak Forest
You can chop oak trees in the oak forest. Now there are even more oak trees! Oak Forest also includes a teleporter to The Park.
3. Harvest Haven
The new house for crops and passive mobs!
Harvest Haven includes pumpkins, melons, sugar canes, wheats, beetroots, carrots, potatoes, mushrooms, cocoa beans and bamboos. There are also cows, pigs, sheeps, rabbits and ducks! More details and updates about ducks coming later in the thread!
4. Coal Mine
A new area where you can mine stones and coals without getting bothered by mobs. Pretty ideal for beginners. Includes a teleporter to Deep Caverns, which you can use after you become Mining level 3.
5. Graveyard
Graveyard is now also larger than before. It includes zombies and spiders. Also has an entrance to the Crypts, where much powerful mobs are located:
Crypts are also expanded and available for more players to slay bosses in it.
6. Wilderness
Wilderness is the home of the magical nature. You'll find the Fairy Queen there, who is awakened now. There may be many more mysteries in there!
7. The Ruins
The Ruins is the place where you'll find some low-level wolves to slay. Good for beginners. Same as always, and also expanded.
8. Colosseum
Colosseum is where you can fight other players. You can just walk in and start fighting!
Introducing Pets!
You've heard it right! As we've teased it in the past weeks, pets are now available on SkyBlock.Pets are little companions that'll fly around you (each with their own model!), sometimes make weird dance moves and grant you statistics & special abilities!
When you obtain a pet, it'll just be an egg taking place in your inventory. When you right click while holding a pet egg, it gets added to your Pets menu. You can access all your pets and details about them from your pets menu, which takes place in the SkyBlock Menu.
When you want to convert your pet back to an item, you can just do it on the Pets menu. It'll automatically get added back to your inventory.
Summoning Pets
A pet will only grant you statistics and abilities when you have them summoned. When you summon a pet, it'll start flying around and follow you!Don't worry about any disturbance though! When you're in combat or building on your island, your pets will immediately fly to the back of your head and will stay there until you're done with the combat or building.
Pet Levels
When you gain skill experience normally, your summoned pet also gains experience to level up. If you want them to level up faster, you'll have to focus on their favorite skill. For example, favorite skill of the Slime Sheep is Combat, so it'll gain more experience when you gain Combat XP.
The statistics and abilities pets grant scale up with their level. Max level a pet can arrive is 100.
Here is the difference between a Lv12 and Lv91 Legendary Elephant pet:
Pet Candies
If you ever need your pets to level up even faster, you're going to want some Pet Candies! Pet Candies instantly grant pet experience to your pets. Be careful though, a pet can only eat 10 candies in their lifetime!Pet Candies take place in the Beetroot collection and they have some different tiers. For example, here's the recipe of a Great Beetroot Candy:
The final tier, Ultimate Beetroot Candy is craftable by combining Superb Beetroot Candies with the Ultimate Beetroot Candy Upgrade, which is available on the Gems Shop in the Community Center.
Pet Rarities
The amount of abilities and their stats also differ with rarities. Here is the Epic and Legendary Tiger Pet as an example:Obtaining Pets
You can obtain pets by crafting them, dropping them from certain mobs, buying them from the Traveling Zoo and some more mystery ways. When you're crafting pets, the main ingredient you'll need is Enchanted Duck Eggs and Super Enchanted Duck Eggs that take place in the Raw Duck collection. You can craft them with Duck Eggs which are dropped from Ducks. (more details on that below!)
By combining Enchanted Duck Eggs or Super Enchanted Duck Eggs with some other specific materials, you can craft some pets.
While crafting a pet, the rarity of it will be dependant on your luck. When you use an Enchanted Duck Egg in the recipe, you'll be able to craft low-rarity pets. When you use a Super Enchanted Duck Egg in the recipe, you'll be able to craft an epic or legendary pet.
Here are some examples:
As mentioned, the only way to obtain pets is not crafting them! Some of them may rarely drop from mobs. Here are some examples:
The Epic and Legendary Slime Sheep Pet (Lv1) rarely drop from the Slime Sheep mobs in Deep Caverns > Slimy Valley.
The Epic and Legendary Eye Of The Cliffs Pet (Lv1) rarely drop from the Eye of the Cliffs mobs in Deep Caverns > Golem's Den.
The Epic and Legendary Ghoul Pet (Lv1) rarely drop from the Crypt Ghoul and Golden Ghoul mobs in Skyline Village > Crypts.
Need to mention, there's a pet that can be basically dropped from everything, but with a very low drop rate!
New Skill: Taming
You can gain Taming experience just by leveling up your pets. Reaching new Taming levels grant you coins, more pet exp gain and Pet Luck, a new statistic!Pet Luck
Introducing a new player statistic: Pet Luck!Pet luck makes the pets drop more common from mobs and gives you a better chance to craft higher rarity pets while crafting.
You can gain Pet Luck by leveling up your Taming skill and using some items.
Traveling Zoo
As mentioned, you can also buy pets from the Traveling Zoo! Traveling Zoo is a new merchant that arrives in the Skyline Village from time to time. You can see when'll it arrive from your SkyBlock Calendar.
Traveling Zoo sells any 3 of these pets, randomly picked every time he arrives:
- Lion
- Monkey
- Elephant
- Giraffe
- Tiger
Pet Augments
You can make your pets even more powerful by giving them augments! A pet can only hold one augment at a time, so you'll have to choose wisely. Here are some example pet augments:
You can obtain Pet Augments by crafting, buying them from merchants, from mob drops, from slayer rewards and many more ways. Pet Augment Merchant Hopkins sells some!
Pet Care Building
You can find the Pet Care building in the Village Center at Skyline Village. There are 4 NPCs in the Pet Care building:
- Pet Augment Merchant: Sells pet augments.
- Bee Merchant: Sells Bee pets.
- Pet Enthusiast: Buys pets from players.
- Pet Care: Sits your pets for some time and upgrades their levels.
Pet Score
Have unique pets to increase your Pet Score! Pet Score grants you Magic Find on some milestones. Each max level pet grants you an additional Pet Score. You can view your Pet Score on the Pets menu.
Reality Shards
The fairies are now free, thanks to you. All Fairy Souls you've collected made it this way. But we have a bigger issue now!
The storm happened and the reality is destabilizing. You've lost the powers you've gained from the Fairy Souls.
Find the Reality Shards scattered around the universe and take every 3 of them to the Fairy Queen to perform Reality Fusions. Talk to the Fairy Queen to learn the details!
Just like the Fairy Soul Exchange, every Reality Fusion will grant you permanent statistic boosts such as Health, Speed, Defense and Magic Find.
Caution: Revenant Horror Tier V!
Yes, you've heard it right. Revenant Horror Tier V is now here with new Zombie Slayer levels. This photo was taken in a safe testing environment, it is not recommended to get this close to the Tier V Revenant Horror.
Tier V Revenant Horror is truly for the mightiest ones on SkyBlock. It has a lot more health and a different skill scheme than the previous tiers.
It atrociously throws TNTs at its targets. It charges up and releases massive thunder strikes, which destroy every existent in the range, in regular intervals.
You wanna try standing against The Destroyer? We recommend not to.
Revenant Horror Tier V has 3 new item drops:
- Atoned Heart: Can be used to craft the Atoned Helmet.
- Shard of The Shredded: Can be used to craft the ultimate weapon, Axe of The Shredded.

Introducing the SkyBlock Soundtrack!

It's Experimenting Time!
Ever complained about the difficulty of gaining Enchanting experience? No more! You can now make wild experiments and gain massive amounts of Enchanting experience using the Experimentation Table!
You can play a minigame called Superpairs on the Experimentation Table. It needs you to basically find pairs of items on the grid to unlock them, and grants you Enchanting experience on completion.
Superpairs has 5 tiers:
- Beginner Experiment
- High Experiment
- Grand Experiment
- Supreme Experiment
- Transcendent Experiment
You can make an experiment in every 24 hours. Though if you want to make more experiments, you can skip the cooldown up to 3 times in a day.

Most of the enchantments now require you to achieve specific Enchantment levels to apply or use.For example, Piercing and Venomous enchantments now need you to be Enchanting level 17 or above to use.
If you have a weapon with some enchantments that you're not eligible to use, that enchantment's color will be gray and there'll be a warning in the item's description.
NPCs, Now Alive!
NPCs are now more alive than ever! You can now have dialogues with NPCs and chat with them. They'll sometimes even talk about things happening around in the SkyBlock universe!
You may even come across some really rare dialogue flows! Be sure to search for them!
Quack!
Ducks now also spawn on the Skyline Village > Harvest Haven and they just got a new level of use!Ducks now drop feather, Raw Duck and Duck Egg with a chance.
You can view the Raw Duck collection ingame. Some use of the Duck Egg was given as an example in the Pets section of this thread!
Duck Minions are also added! You can unlock them on the Raw Duck 1 collection.
You can give an Enchanted Duck Egg to your Duck Minion as an upgrade to guarantee the Duck Egg drops of the minion!
New Arrows and Target Practice!
New arrows and the Target Practice have been added! You can access the Target Practice area in downstairs of the Blacksmith's Building.
In the Target Practice, you need to stand on the pressure plate at the center and shoot all the lanterns in the specified time.
There are 3 tiers of the target practice and all make you unlock new arrow types to buy&use.
Known issue: New arrows may have wrongly-displayed vanilla item info in their description. We'll try to fix this as soon as possible.
