Hello everyone! The most wanted update in the history of SkyBlock is finally here - The Bazaar!
As we announced previously, we've been working on Bazaar for quite some time. It is safe to say that Bazaar is one of the most complex systems we've ever developed at CraftersMC, if not the most complex. We're excited to finally see you experience it!
What exactly is Bazaar?
The Bazaar is a fully functional in-game marketplace that will change the way you trade on SkyBlock. No more waiting for players to come by or spamming in chat to buy or sell something – the Bazaar lets you buy or sell what you need, at the price you want, right at your fingertips.Bazaar is not a regular merchant NPC or a random guy that endlessly buys and sells items. It is a middle-man to let you easily trade materials in bulk with other players.
How Bazaar Works
The Bazaar allows you to buy or sell materials with other players easily. It functions like an online store, but with other players as your sellers or buyers.You can access the Bazaar by talking to Flick or interacting with the Bazaar-book located at Village Center.
Bazaar's main interface is an item catalogue, similar to the Auction House. However, it only works with materials such as cobblestone, potatoes, diamonds.
There are 5 main categories of items in Bazaar: Farming Items, Mining Items, Combat Items, Foraging Items and Oddities. Some items also have a sub-category depending on their use.
When you select an item on Bazaar, you have 4 options:
- Create a sell offer
- Create a buy order
- Sell instantly
- Buy instantly
Bazaar's key points are sell offers and buy orders.
- If you want to sell your items at the price you specify, you need to create a sell offer.
- If you want to buy some items at the price you want, you need to create a buy order.
If there are existing buy orders or sell offers, you can also use the instant buy and instant sell options for immediate transactions.
Let's get into the details:
1. Sell Offers
You can sell your items at the price you specify by creating sell offers.After you select an item and the amount you want to sell, you'll need to select the price you want to sell at. If there are existing sell offers for that item, you can see the top offers and select an pre-defined price to sell at.
While matching orders and offers, Bazaar always fills the cheapest sell offers first.
After creating a sell offer, Bazaar takes the items from you and looks for a player to sell. Once a match is found, your offer will be filled, and you will be able to claim your coins.
Getting your sell offer filled may take some time depending on the price you entered and the demand of the item. If you want it to be filled faster, you need to enter a price lower than or equal to the other sell offers to prioritize it.
2. Buy Orders
You can buy items at the cost you specify by creating buy orders.After you select an item and the amount you want to buy, you'll need to select the cost you want to buy at. If there are existing buy orders for that item, you can see the top orders and select an pre-defined cost to buy at.
While matching orders and offers, Bazaar always fills the highest buy orders first.
When you create a buy order, Bazaar takes the coins needed from you, and looks for a seller. Once a match is found, your order will be filled, and you will be able to claim your items.
Getting your buy order filled may also take some time depending on the price you entered and the supply of the item. If you want it to be filled faster, you need to enter a price higher than or equal to the other buy orders to top them.
3. Instant Sell
You can instantly sell your items if there are existing buy orders. If there are no existing buy orders created by other players, you will not be able to use instant sell.Instant sell sells your items to buy orders with the highest price, ensuring you get the best possible price.
When you sell something instantly, Bazaar first gives you 4% lower coins than the actual price to ensure your action do not get interrupted if the price changes by up to 4% during the sell. But don't worry, it instantly gives you your coins back after completing the instant sell.
4. Instant Buy
You can instantly buy items if there are existing sell offers. If there are no existing sell offers created by other players, you will not be able to use instant buy.Instant buy buys items from sell offers with the lowest cost, ensuring you pay the cheapest possible cost.
When you buy something instantly, Bazaar first takes 4% higher coins than the actual cost to ensure your action do not get interrupted if the price changes by down to 4% during the buy. But don't worry, it instantly gives you your coins back after completing the instant buy.
Average Price of Items
You can see the 7-days average price of every item in Bazaar. While buying or selling an item, you will also be warned if you are selling for too cheap or buying for too expensive (depending on the 7d avg price).Rank Perks
Bazaar has some quality-of-life perks for players with ranks:Remote Bazaar Access
Players with Diamond and Emerald ranks can use Bazaar remotely by using the command /bazaar or /bz.
Favorites
Players with Emerald rank can favorite items in the Bazaar catalogue to easily access the items they most interact with in a seperate tab.
Quick Commands
Players with Emerald rank can use quick Bazaar commands to use instant buy&sell:
- /buy (item) [amount]
- /sell (item/hand/inventory) [amount/all]
Some Questions & Answers
- How much tax does Bazaar take?
- Bazaar takes 1% tax while claiming coins. This amount can increase or decrease in the future.
- There are not enough sell orders/buy offers.
- This should only be an issue until players get used to using Bazaar. What you can do to help the process is encouraging every player to use the Bazaar.

- Will items listed in Bazaar still be auctionable?
- No. Once the early access period ends, items available in the Bazaar can no longer be sold in the Auction House.
- I'm confused about how Bazaar works.
- We recommend simply starting to use it and checking things around - you’ll get the hang of it over time.
Early Access
During the early access period, you may encounter bugs (including item/coin loss too) and other issues. Early access participants are expected to report any problems they find. Not reporting discovered issues will result in permanent ban from the server.
